Characteristics of PET nonwoven fabrics

First, water repellency.PET spunbonded filament non-woven fabric is a kind of water-repellent non-woven fabric, which has different water-repellent properties according to the weight and size of gram. The larger and thicker the gram weight, the better the water repellent performance. If there are water droplets on the non-woven surface, the droplets will slide directly from the surface.

Second, high temperature resistance.Because the melting point of polyester is around 260°C, it can maintain the stability of non-woven fabric's external size under the environment requiring temperature resistance. It has been widely used in thermal transfer printing, transmission oil filtration, and some composite materials requiring high temperature resistance.

Third, high intensity.PET spindle-bonded non-woven fabric is a kind of filament non-woven fabric second only to nylon spindle-bonded non-woven fabric. Its excellent strength, good permeability, tensile resistance, tear resistance and aging resistance have been used by more and more people in various fields.

Fourth, anti-gamma rays.PET spun-bonded fabrics also have a very special physical property: gamma ray resistance. That is to say, if applied to medical products, they can be sterilized directly with gamma rays without damaging their physical properties and dimensional stability, which is not the physical properties of polypropylene (PP) spunbonded fabrics.
