The warp knitted fabric is called warp knitted fabric.

Warp knitting differs from weft knitting in that the loops are arranged vertically or in the direction of the warp yarns and are formed by interlocking adjacent yarns.

The warp knitting machine looks a bit like a loom. All the yarn is wound around the warp axis, which is behind and above the knitting area, and all the yarn is fed into the knitting area at the same time.

In the process of nesting, each yarn is controlled by a separate needle.

However, the guide comb controls the position of the yarn and the needle used may change each time the yarn is wound.

In addition, because warp knitted fabric can use different yarns of different thickness and different weft interlining, it can form different forms of mesh structure and simple pattern transformation, so almost all fabric structures can be woven.

On the other hand, warp knitting is more difficult to obtain a shaped product like some weft knitted fabrics, which generally have to go through auxiliary processes such as cutting, sewing, and warping in order to weave smoothly.

Warp knitted fabrics have a certain degree of elongation and elongation, although their values are lower than those of weft knitted fabrics.

Factors affecting the tensile properties of fabrics are: fabric structure (such as single comb, double comb warp knitted fabric, raschel warp knitted fabric);

The tightness of the fabric (the tighter the fabric, the lower its tensile properties);

Finishing technology (can give the fabric good dimensional stability);

Machine number (i.e. the number of pins per unit width);

Types of yarns (e.g. elastic core-spun yarns, fancy yarns with small or poor elasticity, single yarns or strand yarns with good dimensional stability).

The methods of increasing the strength of warp knitted fabric are: use high-strength fiber yarns, use yarns with balanced structure, use higher machine size and fine high-strength yarns.

In addition, the strength of the fabric can be affected by the use of strands of different fiber yarns and changing the spacing of the coils.
